PROJECT COORDINATOR

Job Summary

Project Coordinators are primarily responsible for creating and maintaining positive, effective communications with commercial project field personnel. They also maintain timely and effective communications with all company employees, balancing customer wishes with company needs. They initiate product deliveries per company procedures and expedite problem resolution as necessary.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Initiate regular communications with customers to request/confirm delivery needs for the following week
  • Review the three key project management documents following every delivery request; follow company process for standard or exceptional items as required
  • Prepare delivery paperwork and request delivery date from Warehouse Admin/Manager; confirm delivery with customer when given date
  • Research delivery requests for exceptional items with PC Manager, and escalate to Accounting when necessary
  • Initiate Cases and Change Order Estimates as needed; track and follow up on both until resolved
  • Communicate customer requests/needs to all appropriate company personnel
  • Other duties as requested

Qualifications and Skills

  • Education and Experience
    • Proficiency in English
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
    • Knowledge and understanding of electrical plans helpful, but not required
    • High School Diploma required

Compensation and Benefits

  • Compensation – Hourly $20.00+ depending on experience.
